<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">It's been much too long. Things became very busy for me when we moved from Australia back to the Netherlands and I found it very difficult to both still craft AND keep up this blog and youtube videos, so I chose to just craft for awhile. Which means I have plenty of things to show off ^_^.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I have mainly been doing Project Life - a form of memory keeping with pocket pages - so that will also become my focus for my blog posts and videos. I will also start up my Instagram page (creativemarzcards) again. So if you're on Instagram, please do follow me there.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I hope you will continue to enjoy my blog and my crafts and find inspiration in them!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;"> So, some of what's been keeping me busy is my twins! Evan and Ashley are a wonderful addition to our family and we all love them very much. They are already 15 months old now, but I'm very behind on my albums as you can see. One of the things that I love about Project Life is that I can also still do scrapbook pages for those extra special photos.</span><br />

<br />
It's been awhile, a lot of stuff has happened to me and my family since the last time, so I'm writing to you from the Netherlands once again.<br />
<br />
Here's a cute 12" x 12" scrapbook page I made for my grandpa's birthday.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7A53QgEQ3ShZwogaORGD5ALVyHtCB47aOiilbM4kcHFyJN1GBeVuYwFy2MIKzvj9udmrkfji2rXHTwJN-3SHP-l6AWhVtE6bhQSXbvULrfj17uZBzVWTLzVex41KQCu-yvuqWlV1hSNrJ/s1600/DSCN5217.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7A53QgEQ3ShZwogaORGD5ALVyHtCB47aOiilbM4kcHFyJN1GBeVuYwFy2MIKzvj9udmrkfji2rXHTwJN-3SHP-l6AWhVtE6bhQSXbvULrfj17uZBzVWTLzVex41KQCu-yvuqWlV1hSNrJ/s640/DSCN5217.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I'll be posting more things like this in the future rather than Stampin' Up! stuff. It's really just showing off my hobby stuff.<br />
<br />
Thanks for popping by!<br />

Hello and welcome!<br />
<br />
Today is another awesome blog hop with my fellow Crazy Crafters. But it's more special than that because we get to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) a wonderful crafter by the name of Sandi MacIver. She has so many amazing cards that it was hard to choose what to CASE but I settled on this one:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQounWcLnZ9p0oFCOwKnwvbibCR7NfIhN5ncCDc-ch1KQxBg7pP1oLioZouYmWUV6_XyAHGE9-y-cgzPwa25dJdQm8Lxr8bl0uBa7lf_5-GcGSgIn8hpiFNm2YoKnph8r3PJQl2phKqGX_/s1600/Stampin-Up-Jar-of-Love-Double-Z-card-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQounWcLnZ9p0oFCOwKnwvbibCR7NfIhN5ncCDc-ch1KQxBg7pP1oLioZouYmWUV6_XyAHGE9-y-cgzPwa25dJdQm8Lxr8bl0uBa7lf_5-GcGSgIn8hpiFNm2YoKnph8r3PJQl2phKqGX_/s320/Stampin-Up-Jar-of-Love-Double-Z-card-2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

I just received my new In Colour 2016-2018 cardstock, so I had to play with those. I love the results:<br />

<br />
I've decided to send lots of people Valentines day cards this year, so I'm making lots of different ones :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_6xa77a6dPFHkf4ceqma2B1QrSfodZCIU8r9i1vtL8uXu6TCgw4cshETD_1psHQlKxdW4_FBNe64ux2ID3_wPXLlbChF1ujvvJANc_Zd6hMctYroOPlEUzjP1rSZjNyHexKcTkjIzFDC9/s1600/2017-01-05+14.46.17.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_6xa77a6dPFHkf4ceqma2B1QrSfodZCIU8r9i1vtL8uXu6TCgw4cshETD_1psHQlKxdW4_FBNe64ux2ID3_wPXLlbChF1ujvvJANc_Zd6hMctYroOPlEUzjP1rSZjNyHexKcTkjIzFDC9/s400/2017-01-05+14.46.17.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
These ones have each got a special envelope made out of the same Brights paper. They're tiny little cards, made out of a Sahara Sand base cut at 10.5cm x 14cm , scored at 7cm. That's why I made custom envelopes because they're so small. That was a fun little project to do. The sentiment is from the "Better than email" set<br />
<br />
Hope you feel inspired!<br />

<br />
I loved the combination of Sweet Sugarplum, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive that was used in the Autumn Winter Catalogue for Hallowe'en, so I thought I could use it in a card of my own. Then I thought, why not use Rich Razzleberry instead of Sweet Sugarplum, so I now have a card and a bookmark that kinda match and kinda don't. But you know, I like it that way :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHA320PI-ePimp6EokajxDPHEfJpnqrdFVr8uURqZ_ZmkImzPWQ9CR7zJnj5CpBH3zMm_TEgZfiF7o5wD3rtGvpCd1MoUJ8O7plS_CaCb_iwlYO-uyIl8rdy7wZ3S0AHm09z3qbamS8VxL/s1600/DSCN9028.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHA320PI-ePimp6EokajxDPHEfJpnqrdFVr8uURqZ_ZmkImzPWQ9CR7zJnj5CpBH3zMm_TEgZfiF7o5wD3rtGvpCd1MoUJ8O7plS_CaCb_iwlYO-uyIl8rdy7wZ3S0AHm09z3qbamS8VxL/s320/DSCN9028.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
So I hadn't used Gorgeous Grunge in awhile and it's been my go to stamp set for backgrounds for ages. So I pulled it out again. Isn't this just a fantastically simple but fun card?<br />
<br />
Hope you feel inspired!<br />
<br />

<br />
Once again, I've got a #ChristmasNotChristmas card here on my blog today. As we're heading in towards Christmas I'm getting more and more excited :) I hope you are too! I haven't done too much in terms of decorating but I've already sent some packages to family with goodies inside and hope to be sending my Christmas cards out soon. I love working on these types of cards and I hope you all find inspiration here too.<br />
<br />
Today I did a minimalist card. I like the clean look of it. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDc4Im7mFVfWCdS4TFIOeNlUD1SIS1eFOhMChBhNsoYR3bJeCbxB2gkWEnOrznIxB1_4VaW8rUYjXYyo0kA7rEaV-W-O7oaqCjh1EpV_7NotymZN2G2A-jIgXjXo6JFQY8CcI1pYXOpab3/s1600/DSCN9212.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="211" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDc4Im7mFVfWCdS4TFIOeNlUD1SIS1eFOhMChBhNsoYR3bJeCbxB2gkWEnOrznIxB1_4VaW8rUYjXYyo0kA7rEaV-W-O7oaqCjh1EpV_7NotymZN2G2A-jIgXjXo6JFQY8CcI1pYXOpab3/s320/DSCN9212.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I used the Owl Builder Punch for the head and eyes, and used the Tree Builder Punch for the antlers. The antlers are copper foil paper (it looks so great!) and I used some retired Real Red Enamel dots for the red nose. The black nose is just black paper cut out with the Owl Builder punch.<br />
<br />
I stamped the inside of the card as well, just didn't take a picture. I used a retired stamp.<br />
<br />
Thanks for joining me and I hope you feel inspired!<br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Today I wanted to give you a peek into my Project Life album which I'm almost done with. I used the "This is the Life" Card Collection and Accessory Pack. You can find it in the clearance rack <a href="https://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryid=30200" target="_blank">here</a>.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I've been working on a backlog of photos (there are always so many). These are from 2010 - so long ago! My nephews pictured here are now almost 7! Time flies. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJwGRpaFqNvGK18HBfb5TUp0KbLCN0rE_OOepqq_izyVCq5j0MVGSnMWkPD_oi_H6rGtwwFoULwNU__mC_br4o3yR_i4SBIOPti6QMpKhNE33hRVoM-xSSxktuE8SrB9bvzxIYs2PDulwp/s1600/20161130_083421.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="197" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJwGRpaFqNvGK18HBfb5TUp0KbLCN0rE_OOepqq_izyVCq5j0MVGSnMWkPD_oi_H6rGtwwFoULwNU__mC_br4o3yR_i4SBIOPti6QMpKhNE33hRVoM-xSSxktuE8SrB9bvzxIYs2PDulwp/s400/20161130_083421.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">My favourite thing about this page is the pocket next to the Hello pocket. I used one of the 2"x2" squares as an embellishment. Something I couldn't capture on camera (woe be to my photography skills) is that next to the two pictures on the bottom of the left page there are stars, stamped with a retired Project Life stamp set. So here it looks like the pictures have a white border but they actually have a pattern stamped there. That's not the only self-made background though. I stamped "sweet moments" over and over in Cucumber Crush and Rich Razzleberry, two of my favourite colours. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">As you can see, this is a very colourful and fun Card Pack to work with. However, if you prefer less diversity in colours on your page, you can also easily select the cards to go for a more monochromatic look. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihQjaF-SUt7Ef9Pm9PpRMH4yxvr6Ok8I2H3U15diIk3frqFkqZLt-84KJqPGYNzSC7sb47p_y_1cIhp7QfRwtijT1HnOc9bHKnyed5aOlzu7nGCdl_o3L3zkr-v0GYCwoNxyuVqrKaZuxV/s1600/20161130_083534.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="292" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihQjaF-SUt7Ef9Pm9PpRMH4yxvr6Ok8I2H3U15diIk3frqFkqZLt-84KJqPGYNzSC7sb47p_y_1cIhp7QfRwtijT1HnOc9bHKnyed5aOlzu7nGCdl_o3L3zkr-v0GYCwoNxyuVqrKaZuxV/s400/20161130_083534.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">Here I used only Bermuda Bay and Cucumber Crush. I made the two left most cards with my stencils in Basic Grey and Cucumber Crush. I added some embellishments in Crushed Curry to add a bit of flair. It's barely visible here but I used the <a href="https://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=138284" target="_blank">Project Life Paper Clips Thinlits Dies</a> on the Title Card. I love these little guys, they're so great for adding a pop of colour! Another great thing about the "This is the Life" accessory pack is the super thing washi tape. I used the Bermuda Bay washi tape on a black and white picture to add colour and I used the Black and white striped one under "Picture Perfect" to add a bit of pizzaz to the title page. I just love that look! </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I really hope this has inspired you and I hope you'll take a look at that <a href="https://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryid=30200" target="_blank">Clearance Rack</a>! There's some great tools, design paper and stamp sets in there! </span><br />

So, do you remember that one stamp set you bought and used a few times to make a calendar or two and now overlook because you have so many new stamps? Well, I decided to grab an oldie today. I loved making perpetual birthday calendars with this stamp set, but it's also very well suited to making backgrounds! I wanted to make a couple of Christmas cards without using special Christmas (Autumn/Winter Catalogue) sets. I want to do a series on this theme.<br />
<br />
To start, I made these ones with Bermuda Bay paper and ink. I used the Perpetual Birthday Stamp set and the No Bones About It stamp set (for the dots on the outside of the pattern). The last stamp set is the Teeny Tiny Sentiments, which is where the "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from. I dotted the first card with silver glimmer paper stars punched out with the Itty Bitty Punches Star and dotted the second one with Dazzling Details (they're hard to see on this photo) to give the cards a bit of dimension. I used the 2" and 1 3/4" circle punches for the Circles in the middle. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmQV-L4oK3FcxQ3YX7UWPa4AlddNqVNTai1hev41FrAbUBzsyD3tP5oSqoU0Q_bqHP6zKHUYJ_UqGneMaxRAH3Gl9vP7hFSkHXmvHfb9Gi6udlAHIEkMEMTbLlx_MMOzf8SOzMWMH5aFGD/s1600/15231541_997174713761471_495555993_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmQV-L4oK3FcxQ3YX7UWPa4AlddNqVNTai1hev41FrAbUBzsyD3tP5oSqoU0Q_bqHP6zKHUYJ_UqGneMaxRAH3Gl9vP7hFSkHXmvHfb9Gi6udlAHIEkMEMTbLlx_MMOzf8SOzMWMH5aFGD/s320/15231541_997174713761471_495555993_o.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I also stamped the insides and the envelopes of course, but didn't take pictures! Never forget to coordinate, right?<br />
<br />
Well, I hope you feel inspired! Hope you'll join me next time for my next Christmas but not Christmas Card.<br />

<br />
I really wanted to do another magic card, it's been awhile since I did one. When I make these, I follow the tutorial by DawnStampinThoughts. So I grabbed my trusty Bella and Friends set and went to work :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
It doesn't quite show how fun it is on the picture, but you slide out the panel and suddenly there's colour!<br />
I did another one with a dinosaur:<br />

Yesterday I received my Stampin' Up! demonstrator starter kit, so I couldn't resist playing around with my new things for a bit. I love using the note cards and envelopes (AC p. 176) as a base for my cards. They're small and it's easy. It helps me remember to stamp the envelope as well. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi58dOKCkp6icK6XG3ZbxA0GnEgLbzC6E5pJjCMeNH-pdg7uuiRGIXSfcGL3a1b1mgD4voaMp3f_GapdMXeA_E8adpVODVZvVu1wSmED9RWFHj-2hp8sd4w8VZhBkRDC-sSsIxYU7vfEWV6/s1600/baloon+puppy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi58dOKCkp6icK6XG3ZbxA0GnEgLbzC6E5pJjCMeNH-pdg7uuiRGIXSfcGL3a1b1mgD4voaMp3f_GapdMXeA_E8adpVODVZvVu1wSmED9RWFHj-2hp8sd4w8VZhBkRDC-sSsIxYU7vfEWV6/s320/baloon+puppy.jpg" width="286" /></a></div>
I used my promarkers and (retired)blendabilities to colour in these cute little puppies. I love alcohol markers. I used the Teeny Tiny Sentiments because I didn't have very much space. Also used the Tin of Cards for the bottom card. On the top card I used glitter tape and both of the puppies are cut out and stuck on using stampin' dimensionals. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I hope you enjoyed these cards and feel inspired!<br />

<br />
I thought I'd give a quick explanation as to why I've been absent for awhile. I switched countries! My family and I relocated to Australia. It's going to be a wild ride here, I think. I joined a new Stampin' Up! team called The Crazy Crafters, so I'll be doing some bloghops (hopefully) with them soon. I'll start posting pictures for inspiration again and making videos when I can. <br />
<br />
For now, I made these cute cards, with the focus on making my own backgrounds. They're quick and easy! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Thanks for joining me and I hope you'll stick around my blog for more fun cards and other crafty things!<br />

<br />
Today I'm focusing on Timeless Textures. This stamp set is great for so many things but specifically for one of my favourite things - layering! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0PhqOZ0DaadY_yeriDG4I_qDksLLSjfv2w1kcyXBwRUuNJLOkn0WwXyDpMiIxrp281grgtSw0mTAthx0DmfWDrd4O6UfdVUi5RgFFVmQyH5nYsMPaoP6BMDxKcRV9U4L8d4R92McyM4fW/s1600/12792236_790953667706084_5819485340911712621_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0PhqOZ0DaadY_yeriDG4I_qDksLLSjfv2w1kcyXBwRUuNJLOkn0WwXyDpMiIxrp281grgtSw0mTAthx0DmfWDrd4O6UfdVUi5RgFFVmQyH5nYsMPaoP6BMDxKcRV9U4L8d4R92McyM4fW/s400/12792236_790953667706084_5819485340911712621_o.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As you can see, it's such a fun and elegant effect. Here I made some Project Life cards that fit perfectly in a Project Life Pocket Protector Page. I was playing around a bit with different "textures" over each other, different colours and also layers. I'm going to be making more of these and am planning a video series detailing my Project Life habits. I'm still learning and I think it's great to share my journey (and especially what NOT to do) with all of you :) So please join me again soon!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Love all around</div>

<br />
This week I made another video tutorial on how to make this cute, quick and easy gift card holder, which is an envelope, a card and a gift card holder in one! It's so simple and it can be dressed up in so many different ways so I hope you give it a go and show me what you've made :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe width="320" height="266" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/V6WBiB55DPw/0.jpg" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/V6WBiB55DPw?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
<br />
<br />
For a closer look at the actual texts and general look of these gift card holders, here are some photos :) <br />

I like to try to use as few stamp sets as possible for most of my projects so that people don't feel like they have to buy EVERYTHING Stampin' Up! has to offer (which is sometimes my wish) if they're just getting started. All you need for this is a stamp set and dies or a punch and some cardstock. I used DSP but you can also use cardstock that you stamp yourself to make the background you want.<br />
<br />
I hope you feel inspired and please do check out my previous post about my birthday GIVEAWAY and join in the fun!<br />
<br />
Till next timeMarciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14945507962022194321noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2680097240558842896.post-72439485194307200612016-02-24T03:32:00.000-08:002016-02-24T03:32:14.690-08:00Birthday GiveawayHello and welcome!<br />
<br />
It will be my birthday soon, and in celebration I will be giving away some awesome prizes. The first prize is the <a href="http://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=140574" target="_blank">Memories in the Making Project Life Accessory Pack</a> and the second prize is the <a href="http://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=138443" target="_blank">Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack</a>.<br />
<br />
So how do you take part? Simple, like my Facebook page (if you haven't already) and join in my collective order on the 1st of March. I will be placing a collective order on my birthday. If you order 60 euros worth of products to add to that order your name is put in the lottery hat*. On a collective order, I pay the delivery costs (provided you pick it up at my house or we meet somewhere convenient) and you get Sale-a-Bration items for each 60 euros you spend. That means that you'll be getting a package with your favourite things without any delivery costs and with lots of freebies! Once I've placed the order on the first of March, I'll make a video where I announce the winners so be sure to come back on the 1st of March!<br />
<br />
Good luck everybody! <br />

instead of 60. <br />

<br />
Today I thought I'd show you the awesome projects we did at my team day (my upline hosted and it was super awesome). Getting together with fellow demonstrators and chatting about our businesses together has really invigorated and inspired me and I just want to share these wonderful ideas with you as well.<br />
<br />
So fellow teammate Hélène den Breejen from Lovely Stamping lead a workshop where we made this lovely card/mini album. It was easier to make than it looks and easily adjustable (the original was with flowers). I think it's a great project to make for a wedding or a wedding anniversary because there are lots of places to write about how special a couple is or to give advice etc. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiADyc-1gUFiscAC98faEOLOZvn1hTzN_NTTXoYV0evdn13Fye9HxjB2Ju1hqILy_a9bwpQcWiS4GkflIW8IYAotab41vga1I7XzEo68odF0nxDVbzVQ3iMq7dea8srnqfmV_AiVBM0rUed/s1600/DSCN8356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiADyc-1gUFiscAC98faEOLOZvn1hTzN_NTTXoYV0evdn13Fye9HxjB2Ju1hqILy_a9bwpQcWiS4GkflIW8IYAotab41vga1I7XzEo68odF0nxDVbzVQ3iMq7dea8srnqfmV_AiVBM0rUed/s320/DSCN8356.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOAAZHCA4sggq5bv_3DJdBeZxSFNRwhW7ZoCzUFhxoPdLaVu8YJAfX2zbiOtGh5RYYsfWDEl32enWWjPZ8AcMcEhMVAzzYXTa_iR8oMcdHCmXF8SBicf85kPqINCF2x6a1okxBZPj6o29j/s1600/DSCN8359.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="235" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOAAZHCA4sggq5bv_3DJdBeZxSFNRwhW7ZoCzUFhxoPdLaVu8YJAfX2zbiOtGh5RYYsfWDEl32enWWjPZ8AcMcEhMVAzzYXTa_iR8oMcdHCmXF8SBicf85kPqINCF2x6a1okxBZPj6o29j/s320/DSCN8359.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
The next project was lead by Caroline van der Straaten from Caro's kaartjes. It's this cute little card in an open envelope. It's about 10 cm wide and a bit taller than that. So it's quite small and you could easily hang it on some flowers. So that's super cute. We used the Shimmery white paper which is just gorgeous and I love these colours which you can buy in a bundle at the moment at Stampin' Up. It's Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay card stock. I loved using these materials as I'd never used them before - the burlap ribbon, the botanical builder framelit dies and the paper piercing materials. So it's a really fun project which you can easily use other edgelits or punches for that you have already. <br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9P3XniMCD1HbbJgi5tbdvBtVhnWvoJIt2_N_rSwx_fHwLhjJ_wed-04KGxl4a89YHqQDbUdrKwrCDxhYPBje_Hoc0sItSiv2JfvhavyoT58izWOVe8fzMswYCU8qa9JoZrJUP0IlQrTFq/s1600/DSCN8364.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="254" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9P3XniMCD1HbbJgi5tbdvBtVhnWvoJIt2_N_rSwx_fHwLhjJ_wed-04KGxl4a89YHqQDbUdrKwrCDxhYPBje_Hoc0sItSiv2JfvhavyoT58izWOVe8fzMswYCU8qa9JoZrJUP0IlQrTFq/s320/DSCN8364.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I think this last project was my favourite (sorry ladies) by Maaike de Ridder-Sack from Stempelpret Ommoord. It's the cutest little gift as a little thank you or expression of love gift. (does that make sense?) Basically it's a little gift bag that has everything you need to make tea (unless you have milk in your tea of course - Dutch people don't have milk in their tea). It even has space for about 6 Merci chocolates. How awesome is that! I loved working on this project using the Cups and Kettle framelits, stamps and the matching DSP and washi tape. So, if you think you'd like to make these with some friends, please do contact me and we'll set up a workshop at your place or another neutral place. I also give workshops at Stroop in Rotterdam and at my house, if you're interested in those. Beyond that you can always order products from my online Stampin' Up store or contact me about placing an order for you when you're uncertain about what to purchase to make sure you have everything you'll need. Remember as well that SALE-A-BRATION is on right now so you'll get one free (awesome) product for every 60 euros you spend.<br />

I made two different ones which was very fun. A little tip, though, beware of the instructions in terms of which pages to use for which month. The example shows that August has 30 days and if you use a page from the kit with 30 days on it, then your November will have 31 days.<br />
<br />
Want to buy this kit? It's super fun to do and a great gift idea. Go to my Stampin' Up shop <a href="http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/creativemarz/" target="_blank">here</a><br />
<br />
Hope this helps!<br />

So at first the card may look a bit boring. But then you pull on the string and it becomes all colourful and cute! I love this card, it's so fun! Children are fascinated by cards like this :)<br />
<br />
Hope you enjoyed and feel inspired!<br />

<br />
Today I'm showing some cards I made last week. I made them in relative bulk (7) but I found that, because I was using a die, it actually took only a bit longer to make 7 as it would have to make 1. It was pretty fun to do and with the great Stampin' Up Cozy Christmas paper from the Autumn Winter catalogue, there's little you have to do. So I made these flip cards with the Flip Card die that is now retired. I used the Cozy Christmas stamps. I also used my glue pen to add some glitter onto the tops of the houses and trees and used my heat gun to dry it onto there. The nice thing about these cards is that I created a fold so that you still have some space to write once you've flipped open the card. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidMxg-gppDOnt2MwjEyjQjMv2YQ-0ULdT7EV_YKYYtjko4yz6DTjSYSCGO6sm2LIhyphenhyphenExPHZ_DKr4Sa5HajYQ6AJUpcFOlzYga_NYiIU1H9Ln35tGpqowLGBTNl9QBcZWo9PgUKSlYchgqL/s1600/DSCN7767.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="313" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidMxg-gppDOnt2MwjEyjQjMv2YQ-0ULdT7EV_YKYYtjko4yz6DTjSYSCGO6sm2LIhyphenhyphenExPHZ_DKr4Sa5HajYQ6AJUpcFOlzYga_NYiIU1H9Ln35tGpqowLGBTNl9QBcZWo9PgUKSlYchgqL/s320/DSCN7767.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
This is the card when it's open. <br />

<br />
This week I was busy making some lovely waterfall cards. Keeping to the Christmas theme, I've used Cozy Christmas and White Christmas stamp sets. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I really like the Pool Party as a Christmas colour and so I thought, what can I do with that? Well, I used the Sheltering Tree to create all the different seasons and then there's a little surprise at the end :)</div>

<br />
Even though Christmas isn't really here yet, it is right around the corner! I got started on my Christmas card collection with the Home for Christmas DSP and the Cozy Christmas stamp set. Here are some of my creations:<br />
<br />
This first one was inspired by the <a href="http://su-per-challenges.blogspot.nl/2015/10/challenge-107-sketch.html" target="_blank">SU-per challenge</a> of this week: a sketch!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ2s3Y3mi-4WXMjx-8mwAjTbmFsWmj1DfiG1k1XoDnEa9UpdVHfhbGpPaoXdxCA2AGVZW_u6vHEX9gUEENfrCCzilhy5K8BWabmlYE-WE2n2vP_lDmnIuQ3sphD2cxqGVn19YzwXtTbR2x/s1600/SUper107.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJ2s3Y3mi-4WXMjx-8mwAjTbmFsWmj1DfiG1k1XoDnEa9UpdVHfhbGpPaoXdxCA2AGVZW_u6vHEX9gUEENfrCCzilhy5K8BWabmlYE-WE2n2vP_lDmnIuQ3sphD2cxqGVn19YzwXtTbR2x/s320/SUper107.png" width="206" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWOqaE_NR43OHpcUGP46tMH5Lj9_dFCEoJh_qmppMWmF376rucbRg24BJGgYmgH4bQs9CPtPorTAv1mWlIlE3XMbnA5qabmeQmjEzXy12HjvCZRWGSo7A4aATA60jFrWocyCLCAyCzKxMi/s1600/DSCN7729.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWOqaE_NR43OHpcUGP46tMH5Lj9_dFCEoJh_qmppMWmF376rucbRg24BJGgYmgH4bQs9CPtPorTAv1mWlIlE3XMbnA5qabmeQmjEzXy12HjvCZRWGSo7A4aATA60jFrWocyCLCAyCzKxMi/s320/DSCN7729.JPG" width="243" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This card has a Real Red base, standard size, then the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper cut at 10.5cm x 13.9 cm. This way I got something more similar to the sketch. I used my Mossy Meadow to stamp "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" on Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out with a 2" circle punch. I also cut a strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock to make the embellishment behind the circle. Then I cut some slots and added a bit of ribbon in the top right corner. (It's supposed to be a bow) </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Next I made a card inspired by the A/W catalogue p8.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFEHU8cRhyhipIEKNQXOVOjeiIIbzI-kusyU00sYj3fjhEPONDE2Cx4GDSzJc7TDOyVUjsyOeZa2JR7LEVuHUGyJEJiHmh2gLalIXO1WSgrG_vCcfnEdhUH_2YQHvpJHOxTm_A2KZc2MGk/s1600/DSCN7730.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="246" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFEHU8cRhyhipIEKNQXOVOjeiIIbzI-kusyU00sYj3fjhEPONDE2Cx4GDSzJc7TDOyVUjsyOeZa2JR7LEVuHUGyJEJiHmh2gLalIXO1WSgrG_vCcfnEdhUH_2YQHvpJHOxTm_A2KZc2MGk/s320/DSCN7730.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I stamped the santa and reindeer on the base of the card in Cherry Cobbler, then added the DSP which I cut at 14.4cm x 8 cm. I stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla (in Cherry Cobbler) and added some of the Home for Christmas Enamel dots</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I wanted to make a card that would fit in one of those long envelopes. So I measured it and decided my card would have to be 10.5 x 21 to fit inside. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc6ZrySMRy9Q2kxOA_qd-E66sqxvtUAhKVF2c0J2Fu_MN79jElSqDPsMZODu5geow65-7hAbkctifPiF-kRePLjphtptb0rJRVaiFgDDI5Mv8mkCjwdzXLY0lJjhOFVmMQHyumyI8d2kyn/s1600/DSCN7725.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="217" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgc6ZrySMRy9Q2kxOA_qd-E66sqxvtUAhKVF2c0J2Fu_MN79jElSqDPsMZODu5geow65-7hAbkctifPiF-kRePLjphtptb0rJRVaiFgDDI5Mv8mkCjwdzXLY0lJjhOFVmMQHyumyI8d2kyn/s320/DSCN7725.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
So I cut my Real Red into 21cm x 21cm and scored at 10.5cm. I then cut some Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 20.5 x 10, and the DSP at 20 x 9.5. I cut out the middle of the Mossy Meadow to use later. I tied the ribbon around the DSP and stuck it down. Then I stamped the sentiment twice, once in Mossy Meadow and another in Cherry Cobbler. I cut them out at 5.5 and 5cm. I cut out the "season" from the red one and stuck it over the green one. Then I cut more Mossy Meadow at 6x5.5 and Real Red at 6.5 x 5cm. I added some Iced Rhinestones as embellishment under the sentiment.<br />
<br />
Now, those are the "warm" cards. With your typical Christmas colours of Red, Green and Gold. In this post I wanted to show the versatility of this DSP in combination with the stamp set, however, so next I made these cards: <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1bRMRJW0Yg8dGKUEaw0myc6J4iGhS-K47I9QKJXYpjws2Sgbpk8myH8BEm_TdTjX7ILZV-H2WoruhVQsjD2o4sgqRYhLGf9oh2Cy2NXDhLPwoiH4coosuuQ4vmYE9SRVGSEJuUnSk_Yi_/s1600/DSCN7739.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="202" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1bRMRJW0Yg8dGKUEaw0myc6J4iGhS-K47I9QKJXYpjws2Sgbpk8myH8BEm_TdTjX7ILZV-H2WoruhVQsjD2o4sgqRYhLGf9oh2Cy2NXDhLPwoiH4coosuuQ4vmYE9SRVGSEJuUnSk_Yi_/s320/DSCN7739.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
As you can see they're slightly more minimalistic and a lot less "busy" in terms of colour schemes.<br />
<br />
So, the gold one:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWSuWPCoNj65cf0Ico4DdlW8edRQZMHq8Sq4Z2me6uu6S2M9WQX28-yBZDrKrULvDqBUH6YktRPQqybJgquD5Bk5nUmZ1Mtmf0w6m3IquHvBvzbUXXshy6ekyt_RHrdRjcQZX2hbLiHuct/s1600/DSCN7722.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="257" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWSuWPCoNj65cf0Ico4DdlW8edRQZMHq8Sq4Z2me6uu6S2M9WQX28-yBZDrKrULvDqBUH6YktRPQqybJgquD5Bk5nUmZ1Mtmf0w6m3IquHvBvzbUXXshy6ekyt_RHrdRjcQZX2hbLiHuct/s320/DSCN7722.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I started with some Kraft paper, cut at 14.9 x 10.5 (half an a4). I cut some Very Vanilla at 14.4 x 10 and the DSP at 13.9 x 9.5. I tied the string around the DSP twice and folded it into a double bow. I then stamped the sentiment onto the Very vanilla piece with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I then cut it out with my cuttlebug and oval dies. I cut the scalloped oval out of a piece of scrap kraft paper. Then I adhered everything to the card.<br />
<br />
The blue card:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGPF714fntvrIaVTwYJ3fFufwfD5S0PY-HKrKQn3aRm34mnhKRIu7wyE7W1saYAM0iWkE7ewPMjHyCgB3WmTCp-9DUhJcTUcYwQxteOgoPQHhZ-qHVll9Cjlih7k6Kkt4uMk51SZsEE73T/s1600/DSCN7719.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGPF714fntvrIaVTwYJ3fFufwfD5S0PY-HKrKQn3aRm34mnhKRIu7wyE7W1saYAM0iWkE7ewPMjHyCgB3WmTCp-9DUhJcTUcYwQxteOgoPQHhZ-qHVll9Cjlih7k6Kkt4uMk51SZsEE73T/s320/DSCN7719.JPG" width="261" /></a></div>
This time I used Pool Party as a base (standard size). I cut out some Whisper White at 14.4 x 10 and embossed with my cuttlebug. I cut out more Pool Party cardstock at 7x13, 9.5 x 7.5 and 7x1.2. I cut out more Whisper White at 9x7 and stamped it with the house and Santa Sleigh in Memento Ink. I then stamped some versamark on the bottom and added my iridescent powder to get the snowy effect on the floor. I did the same with the trees and the house (glue pen). I then used the snowflake stamp from Perpetual Birthday Calendar and also stamped that with versamark and again heat embossed with iridescent powder. On some scrap Whisper White I stamped the sentiment and cut it out. I added some Pool Party candy dots and stuck it down with stampin' Dimensionals.<br />
<br />
I hope this has been inspiring :) and see you next time!Marciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14945507962022194321noreply@blogger.com6
